Poor guy, especially because it's not something easy to cover up. Good luck to him hah

Honestly, cover up just won't work with this. You either do a full sleeve or do laser tattoo removal to lighten it. Then you can at least revise it with a decent cover up. Laser is not that bad - I've had it myself.

Actually, misspelling is only one of the violations in this tattoo. Old school tattoo artists knew there were rules to follow. But since many went to their graves without passing on their base of knowledge to younger tattooers, the rules are being lost.

I cannot diminish the old art of tattooing, but the days of old school are fading quick. The art of tattooing has evolved far beyond the limitations of old school tattooists, and tattoos are being placed today the old schoolers never thought possible. Guys like Paul Booth, Aitchison, and many others have paved true art into tattooing, not settling for an anchor or rose with a ribbon that says MOM. Even modern versions of the old school tattoos incorporate shading and creating levels of depth never seen in old school tats.

Default How's it going everyone?

How's everyone doing? I'm new to this forum so I'm just feeling it out and getting used to things. I work at Funhouse Tattooing located in Tannersville, Pennsylvania. I'll post some pictures later this week. Keep in touch!

Sounds like a cool place! Can't wait to see the pics! Take your time and sort through all of the options, then you can create your own portfolio in the photo albums section. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
