I would say the winter to be honest, most people seem to want to get a tattoo in the summer as it is when they are mostly showing off their skin.

Also in the summer the sun can lighten your tattoo, so I say the winter.

Season doesn't matter... just book it now because your artist might not be available for a while!!

I agree with you greg, tat is mostly done in summers because thats the time you can actually flaunt it. even if you get a tat done in winters, you will hardly get a chance to show it off.

Default Best time of getting tattooed

I think winter is the best time of year to get a tattooed because I am going to tell you why? The good reason to consider is the healing process because winter time is the chance of colds, flu and other viruses. These illness can drain you and immune and make it more difficult for your body art to heal. The important thing you make is to have a vitamins and keep yourself healthy if your considering getting to heal immediately.

I hope this information can help what is the best for you.

Default Best time for tattoo

I think that most people think of getting a tattoo in the spring and summer when it hout out, they're wearing shorts and tank tops and wanting to show off more flesh. Cool weather months are best. But actually , fall and winter are the best time of year to get a tattoo.

I hope this information can help you think wisely.

i dont agree with you Kumushi. Healing will be really difficult in winters because baring your skin in winter is not going to be easy. Have you ever tried a tattoo in winter months?

It depends if you like to go out in the sun then winter is best but if you dont then anytime of year would be fine. Personally i would go with winter, i had one of my tattoos done in summer and fell asleep on the lounge and woke up all sweaty and found that the scab had sweated off onto the cushion, i was nt happy as it needed touching up quite a bit so its winter for me..

SUN and tattoos dont mix.

winter for sure, tattoos hate the sun and during the winter the shops slow down and the artist have more time to work on custom drawings and may be willing to work on the price also.

That is one way to look at it kingnoob ! Even if the artist won't budge on the fixed pricing, he'll be more likely to focus on perfection rather than hurrying through it to be ready for the next one. Exposing a healing tattoo to the air is important, and wearing clothing that won't be rubbing on it is good too, but sun is detrimental to a tattoo (especially during healing) so as far as health and healing, anytime is as good as the next as long as proper precautions are followed to ensure it heals right! That is of course unless you enjoyed the pain and are willing to go back to have it all redone lmao!
