I'd love to help but every tattoo artist needs to know and admit their shortcomings... portraits are definitely not my thing! Every human face I've ever attempted came out looking mad or evil ! You definitely need a portrait artist to work this one up for you.

That is all well and good, I don't think I'd want to risk getting a portrait for that reason

I'd just need someone to turn this into a stencil so I can get that instead. If anyone knows how to do it on photoshop or similar I will be very appreciative.
Thanks,

Click on this pic so it'll get big enough to see. Do you mean something like this?

Bojie, that is great, thank you so much. That is exactly what I am looking for.

With the great bits, would I leave them as they are and would the tattoo artist incorpate that into it somehow? Or would I have to do something else with it. This is my first tattoo so I'm not too sure about things like that.

Now I have to think of the exact location.

Thanks again.

I'm sorry but you lost me there... Great Bits??? I don't know what you are referring to. If you take this pic to an artist they can incorporate anything if they are any good. There is always a way to make something work in the great world of art, and if it can be drawn it can be tattooed !!! I'd take in the original pic too though cause the tattoo artist you choose might want it for reference or might even have some great ideas of their own!

Bojie, fantastic work well done

With regards to the location I would put it on the back of my shoulder blade, a perfect location but it depends if you want to look at it daily etc

Sorry I mean't GREY bits. I've been thinking something would be nice on my shoulder blade but I'm pretty skinny. I guess there is a relatively flat area between the top of the shoulder and the shoulder blade.

Oh yes, even I could do this as a black and grey tat! And that is coming from a guy who refuses portraits ! All of the grey areas are simply shading and any tattoo artist you visit should have no problem recreating this piece as is.
