Ok now here is a site where you can find your name in Chinese Kanji. Hey Greg, you are in this one too and this kanji looks easier to follow than the Japanese one, at least for your name

Good sites, but what about regional variations. My tattooist told me there are a lot of translations done in mandarin, and a lot done in cantonese?

Can't help ya there. I don't speak or write in Chinese or Japanese

. I can say as far as translations I've found online kanji tends to be the same (or at least similar) regardless. Dragon in kanji is the same across the board between Chinese and Japanese Kanji although I did once find a radical version, but even then it was strikingly similar.

Not really a big fan of those tattoo unless they are mixed into an overall design but the site looks like a good resource.
