Yeah man, I'm the USA regional manager for Angels of Ink. Great bunch over there. Aside from this forum it's the only other one I've found I can get along with peeps ! So many forums are full of jerks, but somehow I got lucky enough to find two forums that allow people to be who they are and are willing to share information with each other. I'm building my shop here on my property, it should be officially open by spring, til then I'm running out of the back of my martial arts dojo. It will be an Angels of Ink chapter (the first ligit shop to carry that name). That was the first forum I found I stayed with, then I got lucky and met Greg here on this forum. The guy is great. I love helping people out with what I know and I love even more learning new stuff! Greg is supportive which is hard to find these days online, especially in the forums! Let me tell ya man, opening your shop in an existing place is so much easier than building a new space for tattooing! The city is so much more strict in what you have to have. I'm required to have a janitors closet in my new space where it wasn't required for the space I rent! I have porcelain sinks in the dojo, but they are requiring stainless in the new building. What started out as a 12ft x 15ft room has become 12ft x 25ft just to satisfy their requirements. That bumped my building costs by $5000.00!!!
