Now for your second issue, OMFG dude what the hell are you saying lmao??? I've never seen ink spider out into someones skin. Are you sure you weren't tripping or something ? If you stay within the first two layers of skin the needles and ink should never reach the depths needed to hit a vein and if you hit fatty tissue it would have just blurred badly (called a blow out). That whole scenario just sounds real freaky to me ! If I saw that I'd probably stop and either clear my head or try again in a couple weeks once they healed. Talk her into another tattoo and see if it happens again. Oh, and I don't feel comfortable posting my home address here, drop me an email at kenpocrazy68@yahoo.com

Ok man, firstly I have never heard of a machine bogging down by squeezing the grip but I have had my machines bog down if I squeeze the grip and the back of my hand presses up against the machine. Are you sure you aren't pressing against the machine? Another issue is by causing a slight bend in the tube you are changing the tension created by the rubber band slightly and that will cause the machine to run different. Machines are sensative to the slightest adjustments, I even have one that will bog a little when I turn it sideways to get to hard to reach areas. Oh and make sure the needle bar isn't touching the side of the tube cause that will cause more stress too!

Hey man!!! I've been good, just really really busy! I can't say for sure but the line was probably done with a 7 or 9rl and power lined. No doubt about it, that guy does some clean work!!! Never had the chance to meet him, he doesn't ever come around anymore. So what have you been up too?

    Hi mate!

Nobody does it on this forum but on some forums people just post "Thankyou" to a thread or they just post "" just to get posts up, people think the more posts they have the more superior they are to other users, we don't have that here so we are ok

Oh no, power lining is either creating a thick line by using huge needle groups like 9rl or 11rl, or by taking a 3rl or 5rl and going double width to get the thick bold line. Powerlining really defines edges of tattoos and anywhere else you really want to stand out to define one area from the next. That piece looks fine as is, but it could stand out more with a little powerlining. You are far from mildly retarded my friend, I remember learning all this terminology and technical crap . Dude seriously, if you want tons of tips from many tattooists as open as I am, go sift through the threads at angelsofink.com . Lot of good guys there, but don't leave this forum or these guys will get pissed at me ! I hang out there to gather technical data, a couple of the machine builders are teaching me how to build machines, and also to help starting out artists just like you. I hang out here to chat with the people wanting help designing their tattoos cause I love the design work lmao!!!

Hmmm, when you stretch the skin the lines of the stensil sometimes distort, but if you follow the stensil it should snap right back into place when you let go. Usually if a line goes squirrely it's when they moved, jerked, or twitched .

Yea....I don't know how soon I will be making out to Arizona! My sisters real father lives in Mesa....but even she hardly makes it out there. By the way...you were close. I live in Kansas City, but on the Missouri side. I wouldn't mind trading ink someday....who ever knows what the future can bring? By the way....I did a new tattoo. It's simple. Just a name, but it's my own design . It's a bit rough on the outline in a few spots...maybe it was me. She was a bit squirrely at times too. I realized that sometimes it's important on the directions you stretch the skin. It can actually affect the line, huh? Or am I just crazy....
