Default Buy tattoo ideas, worth it?

Hi!

I'm new and planning to have my first tattoo, so I really need some help.

I asked over twitter about tattoo ideas and a friend suggested me to get a membership at a website where they offer tattoo designs, I really want to get a great tattoo so I'll take my time to decide.

He tweeted me this:

@sarahcuda: Get these designs TattooMeNow - Thousands Of Tattoo Designs, Tattoo Photos & More! ! you'll thank me later, I got mine there

So I'm asking if you guys think it's worth it or know some good free designs, I'm willing to pay if good designs aren't free.

Any help would be appreciated

I am a stickler for this particular topic. Sites like these are people just making money off tattoo flash, I generally avoid them altogether. Now speaking as a tattoo artist I am a strong supporter of the guys wanting to get into the trade and selling their personal art to put toward tattoo equipment, so I will help those guys out on occasion. Now last and foremost I want to say a tattoo should have deep personal meaning to you. I believe every tattoo should also be a one of a kind. You don't really want something someone else has do you? I say work with an artist and create a personal one of a kind piece just for you. If you want to look at designs I'd highly recommend coasting through sites like Tattoos and Tattoo Pictures (< click link) and see the many pages of designs for free! Then you can build ideas from other designs and then get an artist to put something together for you !!!

I agree with bojie tattoos should come from the heart and be of your own design. It's always good to get others opinions and advise but ultimately the design should be your own and mean something to you otherwise you will grow to regret your decission to get it done. Good luck with what ever design you get done.

If You want to pay then find a good creative artist and pay him instead. Don't buy a pig in a poke. That is my advice

Many of you will be put off by the idea of buying tattoo designs online when there are numerous free tattoo designs available, but the trouble with most of these websites is that you can't print out a proper stencil to take to your tattoo artist, and worse still once you look a bit further you will find that the tattoo designs are not really free at all. Plus the quality of these tattoos is often quite poor as well. This is why I only recommend two websites out of the thousands available on the internet.
These sites are both membership galleries with thousands of designs to choose from. You simply pay a small one-off fee for immediate access to these galleries which you can then browse at your leisure and print out any tattoo designs that you like. The sites in question are the two most popular online tattoo galleries: Chopper Tattoo and Tattoo Me Now. Both are excellent sites in my opinion as they both have over 3500 different tattoo designs in many different categories. In fact there's very little to choose between the two. Tattoo Me Now probably has the better bonuses, but you could argue that Chopper Tattoo's designs are slightly better quality. Either one is well worth the small one-off membership fee, and if you're still undecided you could always purchase a membership to both so you have over 7000 different designs to choose from.
