Default HELP! please

I'm getting my wife a tattoo for xmas but she can't decide what type she wants.
she's looking to get it behind the ear and a little down the neck. She wants it to be femenine but has no idea what type to have as she don't want flowers or faries like everyone else seems to be getting. has anyone got any ideas as i'm all out and my ears are getting a right old ear bashing for not being able to come up with any ideas. So i beg all you people out there to help. cheers.

Hey man! Sorry it took so long for me to respond, been doing holiday family stuff ! You are right, most peeps get flowers, vines, or fairies behind the ear but most anything can be done there. Sensitive area tbh but even tribal designs can be worked to shape the contours behind the ear and neck. Beyond that, I've seen native american feathers, bear claws, pet paw prints, religious symbols like cross's, and even script and stars done behind ears.

no probs on the timing matey i completely understand. Hope you and family had a good one.
I'll put these ideas to the mrs and see what she thinks but you have completely changed my way of going about this. Just scaling down a larger design and simplifying it sounds like a great way of coming up with new and more personal idea. And as for the feather that is pure genius i love the sound of it but it will be her decission in the end cheers.

I would not got a neck tattoo 90 percent of the time they look bad. Maybe do something on the shoulder or back or arm. Also dont rush picking something take a few months to think of a really good idea so you will love it for sure!

I think she should get a Tribal tattoo. Tribal tattoos are easier to digest and end up looking softer. I'd say it should be composed of thin lines... But everything depends on how much affinity you both have with tattoos. If your aren't "tattoo people" I think a thin, small and perfectly adapted to the desired zone, tribal tattoo should do it. Anyway, it's just my thought...

We are very much tattoo people and have several each all ready.
You see this is the major problem i have even though i thought your idea was very good. The first thing the wife said was i don't like tribal tattoo's this is the answer i get every time i come up with an idea and is why i need help before i go mad. I think because she has 1 tat that she doesn't like now that this one has to be perfect for her as it will be easily visable to the world and harder to hide.

Hi Elliot,Do you have any kids?If you do the footprints from their birth certificate could be scaled down to fit in that spot,if not try to figure out what her favorite animal is,my wife got a tatto of a dolphin on her breast because she's always had a thing for dolphins. Some other feminine ideas are unicorns and teddy bears, dolphins, and angels.
Hope this has been helpful

I'd use some tribal lines adaptin the contour of the ear. Maybe you can make the represent something, like an animal...
