Default Mixing down shader inks.

Any opinions on the best thing to use to lighten Kuro Sumi greywash? I feel like it's still too dark when I get to the point of fading out. I've heard distilled water, vodka...not real sure. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Distilled water is what I use. I've heard others using glucose and yet others using witch hazel. Distilled water works great though. Remember the greywash looks much lighter healed than it does fresh cause the skin is irritated and even bloody when fresh ink is in there.

Oh, and consider the speed of hand trick! Fade from dark areas to light areas using quick movements for an even lighter effect. This works with colors too!
