I sell to tattoist who uses disposable tips and likes to use stainless steel grips as it helps with the weight of the machine he finds that using the whole disposable tubes to light. its all down to preference i suppose. There is nothing wrong with either system..

Well... as long as they are autoclaving the grips and tubes there's nothing wrong with the system.

bojie....man I gotta say that you are an inspiring person. It's so great to hear that someone else was self taught and who thinks there's nothing wrong with helping someone become a better artist. It is very hard to get advice from someone that knows what they're doing......and I just gotta say thanks man. Thanks for not being hush-hush about it all...because, like you said....I'm gonna keep at it no matter what. And it's so much better to be able to ask a question instead of having to figure it out on my own.....by making mistakes. Ouch!!
And everyone else here has been very welcoming. This site freakin' rocks!!!!
THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sell to a tattoo shop that uses steel grips and plastic tips without any problems.
They are much less hassle in my opinion and cant see a problem with using them.

Default Ink bleed

I recently tattooed a friend of mine, the ink bled where the line went in.
My question ,obviously, is why?
Not my first tatt, not his. The line was set and three days later ,I was seeing a spread in two locations on the upper back.
Anyone seen this? This person is definitely allergic to the ink, can't use any but black.Even this causes hives .The swelling is kinda scarry. And still he comes back for more(he he).

The only times I've ever seen ink spread in the skin it was because it went in too deep. We call that a blow-out. Other than that bad scabbing can cause crazy stuff to happen to the ink.
